India Funsights

Once again we had a lot of fun finding humorous sights during our time in India just as in other countries. Some are particular to this country and others would be funny anywhere. We found it interesting how many people could be working behind a counter (six) and yet none of them wanted to help us. A skating rink on the sixth floor of a mall in India is definitely unique. We didn't think it was a good idea to ask this person for information about the museum. This explanation from the traffic police sure would go over well at home wouldn't it? Wouldn't you love having the elephant scooper job? So what do they want you to do, honk or not? Just like in Nepal, guess whose head needs to be protected! We found the Tourist Police warning to be helpful. Somebody alert the Spelling Police. India is really working on curbing unnecessary spitting and smoking. How big a fire will these 'fire extinguishers' put out? This bridge had lots of advice for getting your life in order (we could call it the Oprah bridge). Never thought of feedback as being about feeding somebody back. And lastly this was often the view out of our auto rickshaw as we would drive against four or five lanes of traffic. You had to laugh or you would scream.
