Xian is a beautiful city during the day and also at night. Walking through the old city past the lit up Bell and Drum Towers after dark is quite a treat. The giant shopping malls and many other buildings add to the kaleidescope of colours.
Since the days are so hot, the nights are the preferred time for being outside to make music, eat and visit, sing, rollerblade, look at the stars, or try out some new skateboard tricks. As in many cities. the nighttime is often the best time to go for a walk and see the sights (and lights).
