Our day began at 5 AM with our first flight leaving Winnipeg at 7:50 AM. We had a minor glitch regarding our tickets which was an introduction to how things don't always go according to plan when you travel. It was quickly ironed out and we were off. After layovers in Toronto and Halifax, we were finally off to Iceland by 10 PM. Our body clocks were already out of whack and after a whole two hours of sleep (we had a four hour flight to Reykjavik with a small meal included for Matthew - children eat free), we arrived in rainy Iceland quite exhausted.
