Milan was the beginning of our month in Italy. We were joined in Milan by our brother Brian and friend Linne which made our time there more enjoyable. Everything worth seeing is in the city centre of Milan. We visited the Duomo with its incredible facade and the glass domed mall Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Nearby was the famous opera house La Scala, the Leonardo da Vinci statue, the Castello Sforzesco, and the Santa Maria delle Graze where the Last Supper is displayed (we hadn't made a reservation which needed to be made weeks in advance). We only spent a few days in Milan but I think we saw the highlights. Some cities are a checklist of sites and others are a total experience. Milan was more of the first.
