Switzerland Funsights

There were plenty of interesting and slightly strange sights in Switzerland. First of all everybody has something to add to a conversation (including goats). We didn't realize Winkler was in Switzerland (the blue cow caught our attention too). This is what a traffic jam looks like at six thousand feet. There are many different attempts to make people drive more carefully and we thought this was an original one. Believe it or not this is a teachers' conference (talk about higher education). Elaine found out the hard way what a five dollar cup of coffee is in Switzerland (this was not Starbucks and the cup wasn't even full when she got it). We love how every town has these signs up warning drivers to watch out for children beginning a new school year (we did not feel homesick about this one). How would you like to have one of these to mow those tough to reach places on your yard? This is how you load cars so you can 'drive' through a mountain. And lastly it's a joke based on old stereotypes but we found it funny because we are finding some truth in these statements on our trip.
